THE RETURN

THE RETURN

Hello Everyone,I hope you are breathing into 2025, remembering the calm that lives below the chaos. I had planned to be on retreat since early January, however, my retreat did not officially begin until January 20th due to numerous family celebrations, household and financial matters needing to be tended to, and a frenzy of work activity on the land where I live. And so, I flowed into all that was being presented, with the presence of love and awareness that somehow all of this was feeding into my retreat needs, even if it was not readily apparent. I looked upon it as a family retreat, an economic retreat, and a working bee retreat :-)

Sometimes, we just need to have a different view of what is happening.

Then, I was given a cottage to stay in at one of my favorite power places in New Zealand, known as the very heart of the North Island. Phone off, email shut down, FB abandoned, no news until I returned 3 weeks later, which felt like 3 months, plus another week at home to integrate and embody all the many, many blessings given in the grand spaciousness I was inhabiting. And still I am on a slow return...my soul is grateful, my body is humming, my mind is at peace.

The world, of course, continues its turmoil, its dying, its great uncertainty. And, so many are experiencing the outcomes of a deeply disturbing uncertainty. How to maintain our peace? How to continue in gratitude? And is joy even possible?

As you sit with this new companion called Uncertainty

Feeling the shiver of death all around you

May you plant your feet firmly on the GroundKnowing this Earth will hold you...

May you plant your heart firmly in the Goodness of Life

Believing, remembering

How it has carried you

Through difficult mountain treks...

May you plant your mind in the Valley of PeaceAnd breatheBreathe into the thoughts that inspire fearBreathe out fear itself...

(Excerpts from my book, Dying Into Love: A Sacred Journey for the Body and Soul, "The Uncertainty")

LIVING & DYING INTO LOVE

We are all living, and we are all dying. Let it be into love. This is what makes our world of sorrow bearable. This is what gives us fortitude in such uncertain times.

I invite you to join me for a new course:

A 3-SUNDAY SERIES: MARCH 30 - APRIL 13  4.30-6pmET

A ZOOM EVENT WITH RECORDINGS AVAILABLE

HOSTED BY THE RED SHOES IN LOUISIANA

EVENT TITLE: LIVING & DYING INTO LOVE

Themes we explore:

Session One:  Befriending Uncertainty

Session Two:  True Soul Comfort

Session Three: Connection with Loss

Each Sunday, you will enter into the experience of the theme presented, and open to its gift and message for you. There will be guided meditations and time for sharing, and each person will be encouraged to walk in the world in their own unique way with each topic as companion and guide.

Our first session on Uncertainty:

We humans are not very attuned to uncertainty and if we are honest, we probably do not really like it. Yet, our world and Earth have shown us over and over that nothing is certain. This is becoming more pronounced daily.

How do we live with uncertainty and still maintain a sense of stability and security? How do we realize our joy in it’s midst?

In this session we will look uncertainty in the eye and learn to befriend it. We will open the door that reveals a different understanding as to its nature and its relationship with the presence of love in our lives.

PLEASE NOTE: 50% of the registration fee goes to support the wonderful work of The Red Shoes in Louisiana. Please support them!

NEW MENTORING PLACES AVAILABLE:Due to these uncertain times, I am also opening up my Mentoring Program. If you would like to receive support at this time, please contact me here

May You Know Peace in these Uncertain Times

Hold Fast In Love, Meghan
